Infographics are everywhere and are often misused or the data presented is misunderstood and this assignment requires you to build a good infographic based on this week's module and linked articles. The topic of your infographic should be one of the following:
Sports participation in K-12 public and or private schools
Number of Americans visiting national parks each year
Recreation participation of older adults, women, immigrants, or people with disabilities
Barriers to recreation and sport participation
Concussion rates in football for professional athletes
Public park funding
Graduation rates for student athletes
Please, please, please do not use an assignment from another class and try to fit it into the requirements of this assignment. The students who were successful at completing this assignment last year started from scratch and bult their infographic creatively. It's also painfully obvious when an assignment has been adapted from one class to another.
You can easily use a program like Word, MS Publisher, Photoshop, Pages, or other software on your computer to create an infographic. There are also online resources that will help you build an infographic. Here are a few resources for you to check out (this is not an exhaustive list):
